Here are some free SG60 happenings and celebrations you won’t want to miss — and we’ll keep updating the list as more events are announced.
Don’t forget to check out Changi Airport Group’s special SG60 festivities too!
Changi Airport Group SG60 Celebrations

Under the theme “Together, We Make Magic,” Changi Airport Group is rolling out a line-up of SG60 festivities from July through August to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday in spectacular fashion.
One highlight is the SG60 Homecoming Concert, set to take place at Jewel Changi Airport on August 1. The concert will bring together beloved local icons like Stefanie Sun, Kit Chan, and Regina Song, performing timeless National Day Parade classics and crowd favourites. Tickets for this special show will be allocated through a ballot, with more information to be announced via Changi Airport’s official social media channels in early July.
Adding to the celebrations is the dazzling SG60 Outdoor Light-up, which will illuminate Airport Boulevard starting Saturday, July 28. Drivers cruising down the stretch will be greeted by vibrant displays featuring well-known Singapore landmarks such as the Merlion, the nostalgic Toa Payoh Dragon Playground, and Gardens by the Bay.
Nature enthusiasts and green thumbs will also have something to look forward to. Across Changi’s terminals and Jewel, a series of stunning horticultural showcases will bloom throughout the SG60 period. Among them is a 270-square-metre floral garden at Terminal 3, dedicated to Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, which opened on July 21. Meanwhile, Terminal 2 will host a striking six-metre-tall floral Merlion, crafted using 60 different plant species — a fitting tribute for SG60.
Over at Jewel’s Forest Valley, visitors can admire a spectacular orchid display from August 1 to 31, featuring over 1,200 orchids in patriotic red and white hues. A special Dendrobium Jewel Changi Airport orchid hybrid will also make its debut, adding a unique botanical highlight to the celebration.
As Singapore turns 60, Changi Airport invites everyone to come together, soak in the atmosphere, and rediscover the magic of home through music, lights, and blooms.
NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations

This year’s NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations will light up the Promontory @ Marina Bay on July 26, August 2, and August 9, bringing the community together for an uplifting celebration of Singapore’s birthday.
Carrying the theme “Majulah SG Youth,” the event will shine a spotlight on the vital role Singapore’s young people play in shaping the nation’s future. The programme promises an exciting mix of performances by well-known and emerging local artists, including Shigga Shay, Regina Song, and Estelle Fly.
Audiences can also look forward to vibrant showcases from university talent, featuring acts like Singapore Management University’s Soundfoundry and the Modern Jazz dance society from Nanyang Technological University, adding a youthful energy to the festivities.
Visitors will be invited to step into engaging spaces such as The Future We Create, an AI-driven visual installation that brings young Singaporeans’ dreams and ideas for tomorrow to life in vivid, interactive displays. Another highlight is Dream Exchange, a nostalgic phone booth-style installation where guests can pick up the receiver to hear heartfelt, anonymous hopes and messages shared by local youths.
Beyond performances and installations, the celebration will also feature educational booths where friends and families can test their skills with mini-golf, memory challenges, and other fun mini-games. To top it off, a multi-sensory zone will blend light, movement,t and sound for an immersive experience that connects visitors to the spirit of National Day in a unique way.
Tickets are available through an online ballot at the NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations website until July 4, with successful applicants to be notified by July 8.
Whether you come for the music, the lights, or simply the chance to reflect and dream together, this is one birthday party that promises to celebrate Singapore’s vibrant youth and the limitless possibilities ahead.
