Who Is Eligible to Apply for PR?
You may qualify for PR in Singapore if you belong to one of these categories:
Spouse or child (under 21 years old) of a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
Parent of a Singapore Citizen
Holder of an Employment Pass or S Pass
Student pass holder who has studied in Singapore for at least two years
Investor or entrepreneur under the Global Investor Programme
What Documents Do You Need?
To apply for PR, prepare the following:
Your passport and work pass details
Payslips for the last six months and CPF contribution records
Highest academic qualifications
Birth and marriage certificates (for family applications)
Supporting documents showing your social or community involvement in Singapore
Note: Non-English documents must be officially translated.
Application Process and Timeline
Submit your application online via ICA’s e-PR system
Processing typically takes 4 to 6 months
A non-refundable application fee of $100 applies
If successful, you’ll be invited for fingerprinting, identity verification, and NRIC registration
